Construction Simulator Extended Edition for PC is an open world simulation game that allows you to experience the joys of handling heavy machinery such as trucks and excavators to create new buildings, clear ground and more.

Compete for contracts, hire and buy new plant and equipment from genuine brand names (see below for more details). You can choose from over ninety vehicles from over 70 different manufacturers for an authentic and immersive driving and digging experience.

Unlike many simulation games, this one comes with a backstory: you take over the construction business from a guy, Hape, whose dream is to see the city restored to its former glory. Hape pops up from time to time, in game, as your mentor.

While some of his ideas are a little strange, to say the least: hiding a UFO to encourage tourists to come along, amongst them – nevertheless your early projects attract interest from other contractors around the town, and you end up with more sensible contracts such as renovating the harbour and helping the inner city regain some dignity.
